I lead a user documentation team in an organsisation (software development) that is partly waterfall and partly agile - working scrum. The scrum teams don't all have the same sprint length, the sprints are not aligned - but will be in the future. The documentation itself is a scrum team and works in 3 week sprints. I would like to know how a documentation team can work together with the different scrum teams to deliver user documentation in time. - we currently do not have the capacity to have a documentation author in all development scrums teams (cross functional). - is it feasible to have the documentation ready in every sprint? - is it better practice to deliver user documentation the sprint after? Acceptance tests: - Get insight how other organisations work. - Establish best practices based on experience of others. Corry Clybouw, Agfa Healthcare |
