Communication Game

Note: the simulation game will be played in Dutch. Maximum 20 participants

Whatchoo talkin' out? A game about communication. Presented and led by Ignace Hanoulle & Yves Hanoulle

Objectives:
We feel projecs fail not because of technical reasons, but because of communicational problems. We hope to show a few communication problems.

Contents:
Multiple games where communication is central. Each time with a feedback part.
We play the whole game in dutch because we think communication is already hard enough in the mother tongue.

Process & Timetable:

0:20 0:35 Telephone exercise 2 players, 2 observers per group 
0:35 0:40 talk between players and talk between observers
0:40 0:50 debriefing in groups of 4 

0:50 0:55 explanation talking stick 
0:55 1:00 personal preparation
1:00 1:30 Talking stick exercise with 2 players and 1 observer (3 times) 

1:30 1:55 Finishing round
1:55 2:00 Ending

Intended Audience:
Everybody that wants to become a better at communicating.  We concentrate  on communication between persons. Maximum 20 people.

Benefits of participating: The participants wil get a better view on their own communication patterns .

Benefits of organizing: We hope to recognise communication patrons that it people use regularly. This will help us in our project work, and to develop new games.
