I am an independent independent software contractor (http://www.johanpeeters.com) with activities ranging from product definition to development. I have helped major companies such as Philips, the Belgian Post Group, Proximus and Banksys as well as SME's with

• product definition,
• requirements engineering,
• specifications,
• architecture,
• design,
• implementation,
• acceptance testing,
• mentoring and coaching.

I am involved in a number of initiatives to raise the level of security awareness and skill in the development community; I have been the JavaPolis security track host in 2003 and 2004 and program director for the secure application development course organized in 2005 by Solvay Business School, K.U. Leuven and L-SEC.

I am an active member of the XP.BE User Group. I usually attend their pair programming parties.
